In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS programs offered by the institutes, candidates must score requisite cut off. The 2021 Cut Off is released after every round of seat allotment. For determining NEET(UG) 2021 Cut Off, certain parameters are considered such as the total number of seats available, the number of candidates that appeared in NEET, number of medical seats and the level of difficulty of the exam.

The cut- off for SC/ST/OBC category (40th percentile) is 133- 107 and for unreserved PwD candidates (45th percentile) it was announced as 133- 120 in 2017. It has increased to 360 in the Unreserved and 288 in the OBC, SC and ST in 2019.

NEET(UG) 2021 Answer Key & 2021 Cut Off

Candidates can check the answer key for each set of questions from the official site. Candidates can download the answer key by entering their application numbers and password on ntaneet.nic.in.

  • The answer key of the examination will be available on the official website tentatively around the first week of NEET(UG) 2021. Alongside the NEET 2021 answer key, candidates will also receive their test booklet codes and omr response sheets. 
  • The answer keys will be helpful to cross-check answers. Candidates can make a rough idea about their score.

How to check the NEET 2021 Answer Key? 

  • Visit the official NEET 2021 website
  • Click on ‘Candidate Login’ link on the left side of the page
  • Enter your NEET 2021 Registration Number and Password 
  • You can then view the answer key and download it for future use.

NEET 2021 Result

NTA will tentatively be released in the first week of June 2021. Applicants will be able to download their result by entering their Date of Birth, Roll Number, and security pin. The NEET 2021 scorecard will depict the candidate’s overall marks, sectional marks, percentile as well as their AIR Rank as per their category and quota. 

  • Applicants will be able to apply for admission to more than 76,000 medical, 27,0000 dental, 52,000 AYUSH, 1205 AIIMS and 200 JIPMER seats. Applicants will be able to apply for BHMS, BDS, MBBS, BAMS, BSMS, BNYS and AH courses. 
  • There are also more than 400 foreign medical colleges that accept NEET results. 
  • Primarily, candidates who score higher in Biology will be given preference in NEET 2021. If that does not apply, candidates who score higher in Chemistry will be given preference. If that does not apply, candidates who have a lesser number of incorrect answers or are older in age will be given weightage. 

How to check NEET 2021 Result? 

NEET 2021 Result will be announced by the NTA after the final answer keys have been published. The following steps need to be utilized to check the result: 

  1. Visit the official website i.e. ntaneet.nic.in 
  2. Under the online services tab, one must click on NEET Result
  3. Enter the required details – Roll number, Date of Birth, Security Pin, and then submit the details 
  4. Download NEET 2021 Scorecard
